| Short description: The Museum, owned and operated by the Finnish Aviation Museum Foundation, has been at its present location since 1981 and is constantly expanding. The latest extension was finished in 1998. The public vieving area covers presently 3800m2 and other activities cover 2700m2. Since 1997, the Museum has been a national special museum. Aeroplanes of this museum have served as an interior set for many different films. |
